Proton BioSystems Lab is proud to have participated in the 12th Research Day organized by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, a prestigious platform that brings together researchers, clinicians, innovators, and academicians to showcase cutting-edge advancements in healthcare and biomedical sciences.

In addition to research paper presentations, the event featured an Innovation Bazaar, highlighting approximately 55 innovative applications and technologies from various institutions and research groups. We are delighted to share that two innovations developed through the collaborative efforts of Proton BioSystems Lab and PGIMER Chandigarh were among the seven selected innovations, marking a significant achievement for our team.

It was a privilege for Dr. Harpreet Singh and the team from Proton BioSystems Lab to present these innovations in collaboration with esteemed colleagues from PGIMER. The innovations attracted considerable attention and were covered by national media, including The Times of India and other prominent news channels.

The selected innovations were presented in the presence of the Chief Guest, Prof. Nikhil Tandon, Dean, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi, whose inspiring address emphasized the essence of scientific discovery and innovation. During his speech, he shared a powerful message:

“Research is a long journey built on Passion, Patience, and Perseverance.”

These words resonated deeply with researchers and innovators, reinforcing the values that drive scientific progress and translational research.

The participation and recognition at PGIMER’s 12th Research Day reflect the growing impact of interdisciplinary collaborations between engineering, artificial intelligence, and clinical sciences. At Proton BioSystems Lab, we remain committed to developing innovative, patient-centric technologies that can contribute meaningfully to healthcare transformation.

We sincerely thank PGIMER Chandigarh, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, our collaborators, mentors, and funding agencies for providing an ecosystem that encourages innovation and translational research. We also acknowledge the continuous support of our research team members and collaborators whose dedication has made these achievements possible.

As we move forward, Proton BioSystems Lab looks forward to further strengthening collaborations and translating research ideas into impactful healthcare solutions at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, and Clinical Medicine.
