Proton BioSystems Lab, under the leadership of Dr. Harpreet Singh, was delighted to showcase its ongoing research and innovation initiatives during Open Day 2026 at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala.
The event provided an excellent platform to present the laboratory’s interdisciplinary research activities spanning biosciences, healthcare technologies, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and translational research. It was a privilege to welcome distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Gautam Thapar, President, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan Vederah, Chancellor, and Prof. Ajay Batish, Vice Chancellor, TIET, to the Proton BioSystems Lab stall.
During their visit, the dignitaries explored the diverse projects and innovations being undertaken by the laboratory and engaged in insightful discussions on emerging technologies, industry-academia collaborations, and the growing role of research-driven innovation in addressing real-world societal and healthcare challenges.
The interaction provided valuable encouragement and motivation to the entire team. The constructive discussions and appreciation from the university leadership further reinforced our commitment to advancing impactful and translational research that can contribute meaningfully to society.
