Proton BioSystems Lab Hosts 2nd Project Meeting for ICMR-Funded Collaborative Healthcare Research Initiative

Proton BioSystems Lab, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), successfully hosted the Second Project Meeting of its ICMR-funded collaborative research project, following the inaugural meeting held at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
The meeting marked an important milestone in the progress of the project, bringing together researchers, clinicians, and technical experts to review achievements, discuss future directions, and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at developing innovative healthcare technologies.
A key highlight of the meeting was the comprehensive review of project milestones and detailed discussions on the next phase of research activities. The team also successfully demonstrated the first version of the proposed device, showcasing significant progress toward the development of an advanced, patient-centric healthcare solution.
As part of the visit, the collaborating team toured Proton BioSystems Lab, led by Dr. Harpreet Singh, where they experienced live demonstrations of the laboratory’s ongoing research initiatives and technological innovations. The demonstrations highlighted cutting-edge work in areas including:
